SOUTH RAKAIA. Thursday, Nov 2. (Before E. S. Coster, Esq., and G. D. Holmes, Esq., J.P.’s ) police cases. Police v. Harper.—Breach of Public Works Act ; withdrawn. Police v. O’Malley.—Allowing cattle to wander in streets; fined ss, and 2s costs. John Gaarder, G. Harvey, 0. Neilson, W. Walsh, T. Stevenson, and John Thomson, for allowing cattle to be at large, were each fined 5a and costs. A number of other cases were withdrawn. Civil Case. —Dunnv. Taylor, claim L 4 10s, for work done. —Judgment for 19s, and costs allowed for plaintiff.
