ZEALAND RAILWAYS. Christchurch Section. CHRISTCHURCH RACES—NOVEMBER 7th, Bth, & lOxh, AND AGRICULTURAL SHOW, NOVEMBER Bth & 9th, 1882.
Ordinary single fare tickets to Christchurch issued at Waitaki, Waikari, or any intermediate Station, from the Gth to the 10th November inclusive, will be available for return up to and including the 13th. On the 7th, Bth, 9th and iOth November, the evening train from Christchurch to Ashburton will leave Christchurch at 4.50 p m., and run 35 minutes later than usual, and the train due to leave Rakaia for Methven at G. 40 p.m. will not leave until 7 p.m. On the 7th, 9th, and 10th, the morning train from Methven to Rakaia will run same as on Wednesdays and Saturdays. On the 9th, instead of the ordinary 7.30 a. m train from Timaru to Ashburton and the 10.55 a.m. from Ashburton, to Christchurch, a train will run as under;—

This train will take passengers, and also live stock returning from the Show. On Nov. 10th a train will leave Christchurch for Dunedin at 8.10 p.m., stopping at Ashburton and Timaru only. Goods traffic will be suspended on the: 9th. , , Fares—Prince of Wales’ Birthday ; All ordinary single fare tickets issued on the Bth and 9th Nov. will be available for return up to and including the 10th.
