Carriers’ License Fees in Chkistchijhch. —We learn that, by the new Carriers’ By-law, the license fee has been reduced from 30s to 20s in Christchurch. Debating Society. —An ordinary meeting of the Debating Society takes place to-morrow night at Saunders’ Buildings, when the debate will be on the interesting question : “ Is Nihilism Justifiable ?” Mr Hogg leading in the affirmative, and Mr W. H. Zouch in the negative. Holloway’s Ointment and Pills. - Rheumatism and Rheumatic gout are the most dreaded of all diseases, because their victims know they are safe at no season, and at no age secure.
