A FLAT CONTRADICTION.
To the Editor. Sib, —It has come to my knowledge that a report has been circulated by which I am said to have induced the --parents of certain boys to take them from . the High School, and send them to the Borough School. This report is without the slightest foundation, and I beg to flatly contradict it. It is entirely antagonistic to my principles, and I- wish it to be understood by the High School authorities, and by the public generally, that I have not since I came here, tried in any way, to induce the pupils of the High School or any other school to come to that of which I am head-master. By inserting the above, you will much oblige.—l am, etc., Hectoe Dempsey. Borough. Schools, July 17.
