Interesting Ceremony at Timarg.A most interesting ceremony took place last night at St. John’s Lodge, F C., Timaru, when medals given by the Lodge were distributed to those engaged in the saving of life on the occasion of the wrecks on May 14th. Mr A. J. Parsons presided, and delivered a very impressive address. The medals were handed to forty men by Mrs Parsons, and three more are to be sent Homo to men who have left the colony.
