Advertisements for The Ashburton Guardian must bo sent in nut later than 3 p.m., with the number of insertions written plainly on the copy, otherwise they will bo inserted until countermanded, and charged accordingly. Replace Advertisements must bo supplied the day previous to that on which they are to be inserted. Special notices can bo received up to 3.30 p.m for insertion over the Loader, but will be charged double rates. All notices of Births, Marriages, or Deaths must be accompanied by the signature of the sender, as a guarantee of good faith. All advertisements and business letters to bo addressed The Manager ; literary communications should be addressed to The Editor.
