(Sib, —After leading the report of the Li brary Committee meeting, I feel less inclined than ever to give a subscription to their building fund, the Saints and Presidents of it being too utterly utter. I would suggest the advisability of having a public meeting in the Town Hall to discuss the whole matter, and also the constitution of the present Library, as I and many others are in a perfect fog about it. I feel sure if ;he present Committee persist in their present “ Royal Stand Backs” position it will result in an opposition library being built in a central position, and not in a sti;k in the mud place.—l am, &c., Argus,
