The Beer Duty. —At the Auckland Chamber of Commerce, yesterday, Mr Ehrenfried, brewer, brought forward the present inconvenient way of collecting the beer duty. He said that every brewery should be considered a bond, and the working tuns guaged from time to time, after which a brewer could do as he liked with his produce. The question was postponed.
