AUSTRALIAN.

[t’Bß REUTER’S AGENCY.] Obstruction;

Melbourne, Yesterday.

Great opposition has of late been shown in the Legislative Assembly to the policy of the Government, and the members of the Opposition have now adopted a course of deliberate obstruction and stonewalling, with a view to prevent the passage of Bills which the Government are endeavoring to press forward before the prorogation at Christmas. It is expected that in consequence of the tacticS of the Opposition the Harbor Triist Bill will be abandoned.
