Having heard the evidence, Mr Hardcastle, R.M., said that the Bench considered that there was sufficient prvma fade evidence before them to enable them to say that Captain Malcolm’s order had placed the ship on the reef, and Captain Malcolm might take this intimation so that he might defend himself.
