“ rrUKE TIME BY THE FOREX LOCK.” The exigencies of colonial life require especial consideration by all who have to do with the supply of the colonial markets. This fact Robert Murray, PRACTICAL WATCH AND CLOCKMAKER, JEWELLER. &c., East street, Ashburton, speedily realised, after a short experience of New Zealand. He therefore set about noting the different lequirements of the people in regard to his own particular profession, and the result was that he sent home an order for a consignment of WATCHES DIRECT FROM ENGLAND, Specially suited for colonial wear. They were levers made to his express specifications, with all the latest improvements, specially prootected by extra heavy cases, and with minute care bestowed on accurate timekeeping. That consignment went off within a month, another followed, and a third has just been opened, a portion of which was bespoken. The prices of these hpf-cial-class goods compare very favorably with the usual second-rate watches in the market. Attention is called to the decks, Jewellery, and English Plate in stock, and to the fact that all kinds of REPAIRING are done on the premises and GUARANTEED. R. MURRAY’S SHOP is CONSPICUOUS by the “ REGULATOR” of his own manufacture which occupies a place in his window, and serves as an authority on mean time to the town.
