RESIDENT MAGISTRATE’S COURT
ASHBURTON.— To-Day. (Before Mr J. N. Wood, R. M.) The following cases were heard : Mooreahead v. Primmer—Claim, L 3 10s, price of a dog.—Mr Branson for plaintiff, Mr O’Reilly for defendant.— Judgment for amount, with L 3 10s costs. Stevens v. Bradbury—Claim, L 5 10s 6d. Judgment by default, with costs, 15s. Stevens v. Matthews—Claim, L 3 13s. Judgment by default, with 8s costs. Branson and Boileau v. Innis—Claim, L 44 2s.—Mr Purnell for plaintiff, Mr Wilding for defendant.—Lll had been paid into Court.—Judgment for L2l 14s 3d, with costs, L 4 17s. The Court then adjourned.
