Mr Alfred Harrison reports for the week as follows On Wednesday, June Said,!held a sale of trees ; fruit, forest, shrubs; etc., the whole selling at fair prices. On Saturday, June 25th, at my weekly sale, there was a large number of - entries-in draughts and hacks, the larger proportion of which sold at prices from 00s to'll9 ss. Very few really good atranbh draught* have of late been entered, but when they are, in nearly every case, a fail market value is obtainable. Cows •dld.&om L 3 toL6 2s fid; pigs, Sat Ba6d, Sat 16s 6d ;2 at 18s; fowls, 2s 9d to 4s Vd per pair ; ducks, 4s 3d geese, 9s 6d to f U»; turkeys, 12s; implements and harness sold fairly well; potatoes, 50a pet ton ; carrots, 30b per ton ; onions, Id per lb; peas (inferior), Is 6d per bushel; rye, la 6d per bushel; barley, Is fid per bushel wheat, : Suds, la fid to 2s per bushel ; ,flour, per 2001bs, 20a ; oats, 2s nor bushel; .cheese 4d per lb ; pork, in carcase, 105, 144, and 1871bs, 3d to BJd per lib.: bacon fid per lb; hams 8i yerlo. A large quantity of furniture mid sundries found a good market, every line being disposed of. r . London Seed Trade. • ■' Messrs John Shaw and Sons, of 37, Mark lane, London, B. 0., report through their agent,' Mr Leonard W. Blake, of Christchurch,. that, there was a good demand for all sorts of agricultural seeds during the fortnight ending May 6th, by which date, though, the season was Virtually over. ■ Stocks, as predicted in previous reports; were left almost unprecsdently low, more particularly of Kngtiah red cow grass, alsyke, and white clover. Fine qualities of and white diver were .almost exhausted, in .consefitiedpß, of .which at rise of fully 10s and ‘Ba djSr i ßwt respectively had taken place.
