Government with resolutions passed «‘ by" the Conference, and to press upon the - Government the advisableness of ; ‘> the principles embodied therein being legislated upon during the coming session.” “That the nth clause in ■ii the Land Act Amendment Act, 1879, should be repealed; so that the whole -half-yearly instalments on deferred payment lands should be handed over to the County Councils as for road making - within the block dealt with, as provided ! in the Land - Act, 1877, clause 59:”: A vote of thanks was passed to the Chairman and Air M'Arthur,: who originated the Conference. .
