A Contradiction. —The item forwarded by the Napier agent of the Press Association in reference s to the statement made by the Rev. Mr Sidey regarding the wreck of the Tararua is contradicted in toio by the latter gentleman. He states that he never made such a statement as that imputed to him by the paragraph in question. Dunedin Exhibition. —The Industrial Exhibition committee have received a telegram from the Premier stating that the Government will readily do what is possible to facilitate visits of members cf the Assembly who desire to attend the Exhibition, and will communicate further about appointing a commissioner to report.
