The. ordinaiy monthly meeting of this Board .was held to-day. Present— -Messrs Mayo, Brown, and Winter. DEPUTY-CHAIRMAN. On examination of the stack we found an undue proportion of and have made the contractor put on the proper quantity of shingle in add’tion to the clay, and have also informed him that on a recurrence the stack will be rejected. —Boundary Road : The contractor is at work finishing and metalling that portion partly metalled from the side channels.—Smith%

Road; We have had some repairs made to the foot-bridge over the Wakanui Creek, and also approaches thereto. —Chertsey and Station roads’; A pipe culvert has been put in on the road between Leadley’s road and the Wakanui creek.- Corbett’s Road: We have made ar- . r.mgement with P. Stewart, who has also the contract for reducing Corbett’s cutting; to form the bad. part of tb's road, on the Wakanui, flat, - in a good and substantial manner, with'clay ' and shingle. As this was the only manner clay could be procured, by combining the two works, it wiU be much cheaper to the Board than if let separately. The cost will be from Lia to LiS. —Fitzgerald road: Levels have been taken for cuttingaditch to drain this road.
