COUNTY V. BOROUGH. This match, the last of the season, took place yesterday, and resulted in an easy victory for the County. Pressure on our space compels us to limit our remarks thereon. The County men were the first to handle the willow, and put together 62 before their last wicket fell—Curtis heading the score with 26, A. Fooks and Andrews being the only others who got into double figures. The Borough men then went in, but were soon disposed of for 37 runs, of which number Hoskins contributed 15. In their second innings the A.O.C. made 57—Fooks and Curtis again making double scores; and the Borough only succeeded in putting together 33, none of the players scoring above 9.
