Guardian Office, Monday Afternoon. Mr Alfred Harrison reports for the week ending March 12th, as follows : —On Thursday, March 10th, I held a sale at Anstee’s Private boarding-house, at which all Jots - were well competed for, and tjacteAH sold for six hours, andthe‘attendance was good to the end. On Saturday, March 12th, at my yards, I disposed of several hacks at low prices. Calves, L2 each ; 7 pigs, 27s 6d each ; 5 pigs, 16s each ; 10 suckers* 9s 9d each ; 9 suckers, 9s 6d each ; geese, 8s 3d to 8s 6d per pair ; bantams, 5s per pair ; cochin china, 4s 9d per pair ; bramahs, 3s 3d per pair; .fowla for killing, Is 9d to 3s per pair Sucks, 4s 7d per pair ; cheese, 4d to s|d*r Onions, fd to l£d ; potatoes, 50s to 60s per ton ; chick feed, Is 9d per bushel. A consignment of Nelson fruit sold at fair prices, viz :--10 cases of pears, 8s to 8s 6d per case; 49 cases of apples, 5s 4d to 7s per case. There was a large attendance, and the sale was continued to a late hour.
