The Boer Rebellion. Floods in the Transvaal. A Armistice Reported. (By Cable.) Capetown, March 7. Intelligence has been received here from Natal that heavy floods in the Transvaal will prevent any operations for the present by the British troops or Boers in that country. London, March 7. The Daily News publishes a telegram from Natal stating that information has reached there that an interview has taken place between Sir Evelyn Wood and Goubert, the commander of the Boer forces, which has resulted in a week’s armistice, i.e, until the 14th inst, being agreed to. No official confirmation of the statement has yet transpired.
