In the Legislative Assembly to-night the debate on Mr. Murray Smith’s proposal for the conference of two Houses on the Reform question was resumed, but now stands further adjourned till Tuesday next. Cricket. Sydney, March 4. . A cricket match between the Australian team and a Combined Eleven of New South Wales and Victoria was
commenced here to-day. The weather was fine. The combined team went first to the wickets, and were all out for 197. Masie, with 80, and Bannerman, with 97, were top scorers. When the stumps were drawn for the day the Australians had scored 49, with the loss of one wicket.
