(Per Reuter's Agency.) Sugar. Melbourne, Feb. 23. Mauritius advices to the 29th inst. state that engagements of sugar for Dunedin amount to 525 tons, and for Lyttelton 200 tons, and that there is a good demand. Skuthorpe and his Dark Belies. Sydney, To-day. Skuthorpe’s brother telegraphs to Mr Dufaur that Skuthorpe has declined to give even him any information regarding Leichardt’s relics. The brother, further, expresses doubt as to the bona fides of the discovery. The Grey Range Bush. Later accounts confirm previous reports of the hopeful prospects of the goldfields at Mount Poole, in the Grty Ranges, on the western border; but at the same time it is said to be a somewhat risky route to the ranges. It is short of water, and rushers to the field must have some means.
