If lam not mistaken, and the newspaper reports of the proceedings were correct, Mr Wright promised at the dinner given by the Mayor to celebrate the opening of the water supply, to address the electors shortly. The intra-ses-sional address is a time-honored custom; besides which the present unsatisfactory state of political affairs, makes it peculiarly necessary that the electorate should understand the views of its representative on pending political questions.—l am, &c., Elector,
