The dispute will not interfere with the match. New Zealand University. Wellington, To-d.-.y. The session of the Senate of the University of New Zealand met yesterday. The business was only formal. The Senate met again this morning, when a motion was carried that the Chancellor write to the Government, urging on them that in the event of a redistribution of seats in the House of Representatives, the University will be given a member. James Cowie, 28 years of age, unmarried, was drowned while bathing in Lovell’s Creek. He had been ten years in the colony.
