FIRE AT NELSON.

[By Telegraph.] Nelson, To-day. A fire broke out in Shelbourne street last night, and two houses were destroyed. The house occupied by M'Leary, in which the fire originated, was totally consumed. The fire had a good hold before it was discovered. The insurances were—L£o in the Norwich, and Lxoo in the Sun on the house; the contents were insured in the Norwich for Lioo. The adjoining house was occupied by Mr. Rose, and was only covered by insurance in the Union for Lxoo. A large quantity of the contents were saved. The fire was confined to these buildings.
