The Auckland Stabbing Case—o. B. King, foreman of Austin’s boot factory, who ; was stabbed by the apprentice, Hugh Storey, while chastising him for misconduct, was charged with, unlawful assault. The evidence.. showed that Austin delegated such authority to the foreman, but the Magistrate held that he could not do sd.'and fitted King Wai, hnd L3 7s. Storey awaits* liis trial at’thA-crimihal sittings for stabbing King.
