Three camels, which belonged to Baker and Mills’ expedition in iB6o-6r, have been captured near Wilcannia, on the Darling river, in the north-west of this colony. Plenty of Money. Brisbane, To-day. The Queensland Banks have reduced their rate of interest on deposits to two, three, and four per cent, for three, six, and twelve months respectively. Their rates of discount have been reduced to six, seven and eight per cent, for three and four months and beyond respectively. Cricket. Melbourne, Dec, 12. The cricket match between the Australian Eleven and Victorian representative eleven was continued to-day. The latter continued their second innings, and were all disposed of for 145 runs. The Australians then went in for their second innings, and after losing two wickets for 24 runs, won the match by eight wickets.
