THE SECOND Annual Sports Meeting of the Ashburton CALEDONIAN SOCIETY ■will be held in the Agricultural and Pastoral Asssociation’a Show Ground, Ashburton, on MONDAY AND TUESDAY, December 27th and 28th, When the prizes enumerated below will be competed for. Entries can be made with the Secretary up to Eleven o’clock on the day of the sports, for such events as have not come off, except for events Nos. 3, 15, 18, and 22, entries for which must be in by noon on the Bth December. For these handicap events the handicaps will be declared on the 15th December, and acceptances must be in the Secretary’s hands by noon of the 22nd December.
