The Wreck of the Lochnagar.

[by telegraph.]

Gisborne, To-day,

The Lochnagar is now high and dry upon the beach. Shaw, Savill and Co. have been cabled to to ascertain if she is insured, in order that the vessel may be abandoned to the underwriters. The vessel herself weighs over 1,000 tons, and there being an entire absence of any appliances whatever for getting her off, the prevailing opinion is that there is little chance of floating her again. The sea has gone down considerably, and tiio weather is now fine.
