They will leave on Thursday and go up by way of Cambridge - We find them in provisions and tools and give them 1 p.week, and the promise of a £500 reward and a 20 acre claim in the event of their opening a good goldfield - If it is to be done they will do it. Would you be so kind as send the enclosed telegram to Inspector Scannell to forward to the natives so that they may know I am not neglecting their request.
