I see in a Wanganui Herald of the 16th. ultimo that Wirihana of Taupo was expected with 50 natives at Patea -- the number he stated to have taken with him to Ahikereru. I enclose a letter I recd. from Mr. Worgan which he requested me to forward to Yr. Honor -- Mr. Hamlin starts for the East Coast in place of Mr.
