The Cliffs, Nelson 30th January, 1857 My dear McLean, I am very much annoyed that little Daniell has been so confused in his accounts relative to the Pelorus purchase. You know I have an aversion to accounts and left all to him, the little fellow is slow but I believe correct and this time I have gone over them with him and think you will find everything clear and correct.
