6 May 1864 Glenorchy My dear Donald I am happy to say that Kate is much better and able to work now. Mr Easdail has arrived with the sheep in very good order. 704 wedders and 23 rams which we nose branded yesterday. Him & Watt goes down today to see you. Watt might take some grass seed back with him if you have nothing ealse to send. I expect you up before this. I hope you are quite well. I have had very queer dreams about you lately but they are all good I think. I know you have a great deal to think of at preasant. John is getting on remarkable well with the accomodation house. I am getting the houses their painted and the kitchen white washed & he has realised at the rate of 20/ per week since he comenced but you know it keep equal to that amount away from
