Here we shall be stoped in our survey unless the Native boundary is defined. I had settled, with Mr. Mantell's sanction, that Mr. Fraser should do this in conjunction with Mr. Anderson, one of our Provincial Surveyors, and my object in writing to you is to know if (without interfering with your arrangements) you could spare Mr. Fraser to proceed there in the course of a day or two; say, the early part of next week.
