MR. HOLLAND'S OPPONENT
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WESTPOBT, This Day. Mr. John Menzies, Coalition candidato for tho Buller electorate, opened his campaign at Hector and Seddonville last evening. These are two coalmining towns, and the candidate received an excellent reception. He was accorded a vote of thanks and confidence at Seddonville. i Mr. Menzies urged the uso of more New Zealand coal, that wharfage and] freightage charges bo lowered, andj
that more activity bo displayed in goldmining. He stated that tho New Zealand unemployment system was superior to that of any other country. Ho favoured tho overhauling and remodelling of the Arbitration Court.
