Wellington, Last night. The following are the complete nominations for tho Wellington seat :— Atkinson, Hislop, Hutcheson, Jellicoe, Macdonald, Fisher, Duncan, Luke, Carmichael, and Karnshaw, For Otiiki seat, Field and Morison ; Wellington Suburbs, Newman, Kirk, and Wilford. The dark horse whom the Liberal party r-poke of bringing forward has decided for business rensons not to stand at this election. There has been much speculation as to the identity of the gentleman, but so far the secret has been well kept. The only candidates announced for the City who were not nominated are Hornblow and Stewart. Mr Fisher, addressing an open-air meeting to-night, announced he had been chosen as the third Government candidate for the Oity. Tho nominations for Masterton are Messrs Hogg, Cockburu, and Hood ; Wairarapa, Buchanan, Hornsby, and Coleman Philips; Egniont, Symea and Monkhouse. Auckland, Last night. At noon to-day Mr Seddon left by the train for Oneliiinga, where he embarked on tho Gairloch for New Plyniou'h. The City nominations are:—Messrs J. Quinlan, Fowlds, S. Yailo, Crowther, French, Holland, and Napior. DuNi.niN, L:\st night. The Hon. John McKenzie was the. only candidate nominated for the Wai'iemo seat, and is therefore tho new member for the district. This js only the second time jn his career that he has bad a walk-over, tho previous occasion being for the Provincial Council, Waimate, Last night. Major Steward, Messrs S. Boreham and J, Campbell have been nominated for Waitaki. Westport, Last night. Messrs J. Colvin and P. ,1. O'Regan were nominated to-day for tho Buller so it Timaru, Last night. The Timaru nominations are—Hon. W. Hall-Jones (Government), and Messrs James Stephen Keith (Independent Liberal), and Joseph Mahoney (Independent Labor). Mr J. Mahoney, Independent Labor candidate for Timaru, addressed a considerable meeting in the Theatre. He was not taken seriously, and frequently had to appeal as a worker to the woi kera for a hearing. A vote of thanks was proposed, but no one took the trouble to hold up a hand.

Oajmabu - , Last night. Mesara T. Y. Duncan and J. A. Macpherson have been nominated for Oamaru, Mr John MacGregor, lately M.L.0., declined to-day to be nominated. Invercargili,, Last night. Tlie Parliamentary nominations are Messrs J. C. Hanan for Invercargill, A. M. Carmichael and M. Gilfedder for Walh_£|______G. Ward and W. T.
