Auckland, September 19 Newton— B. Witby, 153 ;J. A. Tole, 111 ; Garrat, 45. Auckland, September 20. Ponßonby — The nomloatioaß to-day were Wright, 78 ; Peacock, 67 ; Cooper, 26. Wakcunui, September 20. Wanganat nominations — Hoa J. Ballance and Gilbert Caraon were propoaed. The show of hands was very greatly m favor of Ballance Mastbkton, September 19 At the nominations the enow of hands was Baetham, 123 ; Hogg, C 5 ; Hawkins, 64 Wellington, September 20. Wellington East nominations — Fisher, Robertson an<i Carter. Tha show of hands waß largely m favor of Fiaher. The proceedings were noisy bat good tempered. For Greytown, W. C. Buchanan and Henry Bunny were proposed. The show of bands was : Buchaaan, 308 ; Barmy, 150. A poll was demanded. Grkymouth, September 19. Joseph Petrie and .Arthur Robert Guinness were proposed. The show o! hands was Pttrie, 87 ; Guinness, 37. Kumara, September 19 R. J. Seddon was elected unopposed for Kumara. Timaku, September 19 Timaru nominations — Richard Turnbull, auctioneer, Edward George Kerr, newspaper proprietor. There was a good crowd and some fun and badinage, but all passed off quietly. Clutha, September 19. Clutha nominations— J. W. Thompson and Thomas McKenzie. Dunedin, September 19. Taieri nominations — J. Fulton and W. Carncrosß. Tho show of hands was equal. Dunedin, September 20 At Dunedin West the show of hands was:— Stewart, 24; Dick, 30. Considerable feeling was displayed. Dunedin Central nominations — Dr Fitshett and E. B. Oarglll. The show of hands was largely m favor of Dr Fircbett Dunedin South nominations— Fish and Gore. The show of hands was overwhelmingly m favor of the former. Dunedin East — Nearly 500 were present at the nomination. Sir R. Stout and Mr Alleu, both made long speeches. The show of hands was m favor of the latter Roslyn— Ross, Carlton, and Hutchison were nominated. Show of hands : — Carlton, 58 ; Hutchison, 51 ; Ross, 10. Peninsula — Larnach, 75; Begg, 68. Personalities were occasionally strong
