Last night the bazaar was continued;with \ most gratifying results. During tho after, noon tho bazaai was woll patronised by ladies, who woro much inlorettcd in the display of work, and woro unanimous in their praiso and admiration. Many purchases were effected in tho plain work sections of the stalls. Tho children added to tho animation of the afternoon work hy their eager quest for tho sweets of the refreshment und lolly stalls, and tho enquiring scrutiny o( tho atlrnctivo articles armiigod in the toy stall. In tho evening all tho stallholders were kept busy, and very good business was dond. To the ox* citcmout of tho bazaar work was added the attraction of the lazy stick pulling contest, in which there wero 17 competitors. After some very good pulls, Mr, W. Gaynor and Mr, Bert Power wero loft to contest tho final, both being very fair oxponents of tho game. It could he seen that each was watching closoly to adopt one of tho lino points, Gaynor, by his alertness, anticipated his opponents tactics, and gained a victory: both contestants were loudly checro.l, as they had to liicet very good men in tho various rounds. Tho contesl continues to-night, and tho winnor of tho liual in tho tournament to-night will pull with last night's victor for first and second prizo mor.oy. This evening thoro will bo a concert in the, supper room, prominent local vocalists contributing items. Alter tho concert, thoro will bo n dance, A sawing competition for tlio ladies will hp held to-night, the prize for which is a lady's bracelet valued at 11, Tho drawing for prizos is giving evorv satisfaction, and is in tho capable handa of Sfessrs Oullen, Hayos and Oolvin, a great improvement being effected by tho uso ol a blackboard to notify the names of the prizo winners.
