Captain Harvey, of tho McrrioEngland, deposed that no ono lmd montioued to him it was intended to take iho hostages at Joaribari, No shot* were fired until after tho nativeo commenced shooting their arrows. He heard no order giveu to tire. Judgo Robinson tired tho last shot, after tho general firing had oonsod.
