At the yearling sale the Grafton — Petrona colt realised 500 guineas; Hautbrion — Barley colfc 650 guineas; the Wallace^ — Sweet Alice colt 1100 guineas. The latter was purchased by Sir Rupert Clarke. The full sister to Sweet Nell was passed in at 1500 guinea*. Received April 6, 10.3 a.m. SYDNEY, April 6. At the yearling sales,; L. Pletchet (New Zealand) purchased a colt by True Blue — Gem, for 50 guineas, and a shapely-looking Lochiel — Consistence colt for 100 guineas. At the- auction of ' stallions a number of horses for Southland owners 1 were, disposed of. The trotting stallion Weinachten fetched' 70 guineas. In draught stallions. Major Kennedy realised 100 guineas, Skipper 90 guineas and Craigieburn 117 guineas.
