WAIROA, January 10.
The following settlers, are 'heavy losers by the'Morcre bush fire, viz.: — Coop Bros., C. Chapman, A. Richardson, P. Walsh, L, Joblin, A. Proudlock, Mclntyre, Swarbrick, McGuinness, and Mayder. The last-named Tost his house and woolshed and stock Unknown. The fire travelled in the direction of the coast towards Gisborne. Bailey 8r05.,, of> Pari^u, :lost four miles of fencing near the MorcreHot Springs, where the, bush is jstill' burning.
