At a meeting of the Labor Parly it was decided to insist on the Electoral Bill being adopted by the Upper House in the form in which it passed the Legislative Assembly, Railway communication with the Newcastle district has been restored. The Government are supplying the destitute with bread. Many refugees are camped in the open-air owing to their houses being infested with snakes and other reptiles.
