BECKETT, HAMMOND, AND DICK'S REPORT.

Our stock sale at the Club yards yesterday waa well attended and the bidding was more spirited than it has been for some months. We sold nearly all the pens under the hammer. About 130 head of cattle, 500 aheep and 31 pigs made up the sale. We quote :— Yearling steers, 365; 18-months ditto, 53s 6d ; 2-year ditto, 57s 6d ; yearling mixed steers and heifers, 30s ; yearling heifers, 22a ; cows, 37s 6d to 60s ; weaners, 16s ; wethers, 9s to 9s 6d ; ewes and lambs in wool, 12s 2d ; weaner pigs, 5s to 6s 3d. We sold a few useful hacks at good value. A mob of unbroken horses were also offered, bnt were unable to place them. We also offered 30,000 feet of timber after the stock saie, which, although passed in, was quitted afterwards at a satisfactory figure.*
