Wanganui Grand National Steeplechase of 150 soys ; second horse to receive 25 soys. out of the stakes ; over 3 miles of fair hunting country ; open to all horses ; entrance £7 7s ; weight, ldrlbs over weight for age. To start at 12 o'clock. 5. Maiden Steeplecahse, of 50 soys,, second horse to save his stakes ; over the same course as the National ; open to all horses that have never won a steeplechase or hurdle race ; hack hurdle races excepted ; entrance £3 3s ; weights 14 lbs, over weight for age ; the winner of the National Steeplechase w carry 7lbs penalty. To start at 2 o'clock. 3. Hack Steeplechase of £10 , with a sweepstakes of £1 Is added ; distance, mile and a half; post entries ; catch weights. To start at 3 o'clock.
