BIG WINTER CAMPAIGN.
(Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) (Received Monday, 10.10 a.m.) WASHINGTON, Sunday. Mr Cyril Brown, the war correspondent, reports from Stockholm that % Germany will vrage a whirlwind campaign tn the winter, hoping to achieve victory on the west front by the end of the spring or early in the summer, at any cost.
Germany will take energetic advantage of tbe six months' grace before the United States is able to turn the tide of battle, knowing now that the world is mobilising for battle, not bluff. The consensus of evidence indicates that the economic pressure in Germany is not unbearable, and that Germany wilf be able to survive the fourth winter.
