BATTALION ORDERS.
The following Battalion Orders have boon issued: Adjutant.
Lieut. T. McCristell, N.Z.S.C.. has been appointed Adjutant to the "n<! Battalion, vice Capt. G. W. Braddell. Officers in Camp. The following officers are attached for- duty during annual cam]): — •Jnd Lieutenants. Company: .1. \V. Andrews 84 F. W. Roydhouse S(5 K. .1. .!. Welch Sf> A. S. .ludd 8(5 S. D. ledgers oS G. L. H. Drew 78 E. H. Winchester 87 E. M. Sharpe S2 M. D. Smith 74 Quartermaster. 2nd Lieutenant E. .). .J. Welch, unattached, is appointed acting Quartermaster, vice Lieut and Q.m. -Jackson appointed Brigade Supply Officer. Equipment. A supply of water-bottles and haversacks for use of officers has been requisitioned and will be issued to officers on their arrival in camp. Accidents. The Department disclaims liability for ii'odicjil expenses resulting from injuries sustained by Territorials taking part in football matches and other sports whilst attending parados and camps, nor will men be entitled to pay whilst thus incapacitated. Ammunition. Officers commanding Companies are requested to send all ammunition in their charge to camp with the eleven iy men on April 14th, and to deliver same to the Quartermaster, obtaining a. receipt therefor. Promotions. Officers commanding companies can only recommend the promotions of N.C.O. 's to acting rank. They cannot con/inn appointments and promotions. Special Duties. Officers Commanding certain Companies are required to detail men for special work as Military Police, Sanitary Corps, criierlk-s to IVledical Officer; and Leaver corps during camp. Duties. During camp the Companies of the Battalion will be on duty, starting on April 18th, with "B" Company and following on in rotation nntil April 26th. Promotions. The following promotions to acting rank are announced:— Sergt. R. Leo to be Col.-Sergt. Corp. S. Temple to bo Sergt. L.-Corp. L. Brooks to bo Sergt. Pte. N. E. Carswell to "be Corp. Pte. F. Tapliu to be Corp. Pte. F. Winter to be Corp. Pte. J Ballans to be Corp. Bugler 0. Jarrctt to bo Sergt.-Drum-mer.
Col.-Sergt. A. Miller reverts to the rank or" Sergt. at his own request. Machine Gun Section.
The following N.C.O.'s and men have been selected as Machine Gun Section, and will proceed to camp on April 14th. They will be brigades under Lieut. Rose, N.Z.S.C., and will be entirely at the disposal of that officer, who will issue his orders direct: —-
