THE COUNCIL.
The Council met at 2.30.
A Select Committee was set up to consider the advisability of establishing a training chip in the colony.
The debate on Mr M'Gregor'a motio l to make the Legislative Council elective, and that the question should be submitted to a referendum at the next election, was renewed.
