CHRISTCHURCH.
June 5.
Mr John Holmes, M.H.R. for Christchurch South, addressed bis constituents to-night, and received an, unanimous vote of confidence. He purposes giving the Government a general support, and strongly advocated the protection of the industries of the colonies.
