A CHAPTER OF ACCIDENTS.

Nelson, April 22. Several accidents were reported yesterday. Whilst engaged in the removal of a building in Bridge street, a man named Harry Buffi had one of his legs badly broken. A lad at Brightwater sustained serious injury from the kick of a horde, A few days ago Mr Alfred Baigent, son of Mr Baigent formerly M.H.R., for Waimea fell down stairs and injured his spine. His death has now resulted. A man named Williams, while working at a circular saw at M'Enroe's wharf had his left hand drawn in and his thumb is almost severed.
