(To the Editor.) Sib,— Will you allow me through your widely circulated medium to acknowledge the receipt of £2 17s 6d, in favor of the Messrs Honey, collected by them at Callaghan's for the (purpose of placing a record over the grave of the deceased man William Edward Thomas, who was killed at Blake's Terrace some short time back. This sum with the balance in hand of £5 12a 6d has enabled the committee to obtaiu a headstone and rails which they hope will give satisfaction to all friends and subscribers* On behalf of the committee I kindly thank all those who magnaninously came forward and assisted by their aid and bard labor in such a work of Christianity.
