THE LYrTELTON HARBOR BOARD.
CHEIBTCHURCH, AugUSt 4, The revenue of tbe Lyttelton Harbor Board, for the past month, was nearly £3000. Ninety-nine vessels arrived and left the port during July, representing 23,808 tons. The Board being dissatisfied with the high price charged for gas at Lytteiton, instructed tbe engineer to seek information as to tbe possibility of a more economical meanß of lighting the harbor, hinting at tbe advisability of introducing the electric light.
